Mahesh Jadhav is giving a new hope of life to HIV positive children by motivating and taking care them to lead a positive life. He is the Founder of Mahesh Foundation which aims to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for the physical, psychological, and emotional growth of children afflicted with HIV/AIDS. He ensures they have an education along with adequate medical and social support.
Mahesh is looking after 55 HIV positive children aged 4-17. It all started when he visited the City Civil Hospital. He saw a four-year old child, infected with HIV and abandoned by their parents. This incident moved Mahesh to begin providing accommodation to HIV positive children in his own home.
